Black Ops 2 is especially notable here, with its complex branching story and huge variety in both area and era. The Black Ops series doesn't nearly get enough credit for its ambition and innovation. But that's one awesome game up against four games I (mostly) love, so I have to say I'm more of a BLOPS fan.
